Many people believe that when they are dishonest they have many advantages. They think that they are smart when they use short-cuts instead of following the narrow and time consuming road of honesty. However, this is a misleading belief.

Human beings like to be bad because they have inherited an evil and absurd content in the biggest part of their brain. This is their anti-conscience, in other words, their primitive conscience that didn't evolve like their human conscience. The anti-conscience keeps inducing everyone to prefer what is bad, so that it may have the chance to destroy their human conscience when they agree with its absurdity.

Accepting dishonesty is first of all, very dangerous. Secondly, it will never really benefit anyone, even if in the beginning it may seem to be a smarter solution.

When you are honest you respect the other human beings, and your conscience remains clean. You will also have many advantages in the future because what is well-done will be resistant and always valuable. What is done in a dishonest manner has many defects, and provokes many future problems. You should delay more and work harder in order to do a perfect job, instead of doing everything in a wrong manner, for believing that you'll have many advantages this way.

In the future you'll have to pay for your superficiality and lack of responsibility. You may even have to pass through many embarrassing situations when your mistakes will appear in the surface. You won't be able to hide them forever. You cannot control the world's functioning.

Besides this fact, when you accept doing what is bad, your anti-conscience becomes more powerful, while your human conscience is destroyed by the craziness you accept without criticism. Whatever is bad is also absurd because it generates abnormal reactions and sick situations. If you'll keep accepting what is bad, you'll completely lose your human conscience, and then become mentally ill.

Moral principles are not 'silly' rules. They protect your sanity and dignity. They help you follow a wise philosophy of life, instead of losing your peace of mind and facing despair.

Moral principles were in fact originated by the wise unconscious mind that produces our dreams, and gives us artistic and religious inclinations. Whatever is good in the human behavior comes from the unconscious wisdom. Whatever is bad comes from the anti-conscience's absurdity. There is nothing 'neutral' in our nature. Indifference to what is bad is as harmful as cruelty itself. If we won't be good, we will unavoidably be bad.

The wise unconscious mind that produces your dreams will give you many explanations, until you'll finally understand why you should defend justice. You need the unconscious guidance even if you believe that you should be honest because you live in a world governed by violence, immorality, hypocrisy, and greed. You'll tend to accept dishonesty many times, without understanding your mistakes. The superior unconscious wisdom will teach you how to clearly discern what is good or bad in any situation. This is how you'll keep your peace of mind and mental stability for life.?

Knowing the Danger of Selfishness Empower You to Gain Personal Growth

You must know the danger of selfishness because IT kills one's personality and spiritual growth if you are unaware. A self centered and selfish lives only for himself. He does not know beauty of loving and respecting others, instead he stirred up arguments and quarrels over tiny little matters. All these factors will transform his life into an endless journey in unhappiness. He suspects others of being his rivals and is envious of their success and achievements. He cannot tolerate their happiness and it the end, he poisons his thoughts and pose a threat to the society.

In regardless whether one is wealthy or poor, a selfish man is always being controlled by the world's worst curse, greed. He is never contented with what he possess. Mahatma Gandhi once said, "The world is enough for everyone's needs, but never enough for one man's greed". If one is rich, he worries about his current possessions, like house, car and many others. He will always be thinking about making more money but never prepared to part with his money for a worthy cause. His mind will be at all times pre-occupied with thoughts of being robbed, kidnapped, cheats, death and many others. In contrast, if one is living in poverty, he suffers from not having enough so he is always longing for wealth. When he cannot obtain the wealth which he wants through honest means and hard work, he will resort to criminal ways to get his desires.

Selfishness is being developed by adopting wrong thoughts and also the failure to perceive the realities of life. It is a very destructive emotional force and if no actions have been put in place to reduce this negative emotion, it can cause suffering and misery. Thoughts are forces and selfishness is a powerful negative force that will bring along bad consequences. This is in accordance with the universal moral law, "What we sow is what we reap", therefore pain and suffering are the results of negative thoughts, while happiness is the result of good thoughts.

Our thoughts dominated us and hence a hatred or grudge tears the one who harbours it. A strong feeling of resentment is just like a germ or virus that cause poor health and illness, so remember to stay positive and throw away hatred.

By knowing the danger of selfishness, we must then see the need to cultivate love and compassion. A happy and contented life can only achieved by overcoming selfishness and developing goodwill, understanding and benevolence. We should not pick on other's weakness or mistakes and disregarding their good work and nature.

Nothing outside us can possibly cause an impact on us as much as what is taking place in our minds. It is a fact that "As a man think in his heart, so he is".

Succeed does not come to you, you have to go to it" Using this philosophy, I decided to create this self help website selfempowermentsecrets to push myself to achieve self empowerment and also to motivate all of my friends out there who are reading and staying with me throughout this empowering journey.

Do join me in this enriching journey and empower yourself to achieve anything you want in life.

How much does fear enter into your business decisions and into your personal life?

Fear is a major indicator of separation from Source and Universal Intelligence. When you are experiencing fear, and even worries and concerns, you are not experiencing trust, love, and certainly not joy - you are not connected to Spiritual Source, to the Universal Love and Intelligence that is always flowing and always available.

Fear is one of those things that pops up in our experience totally justified, totally normal, and usually totally automatically. The key is to be conscious and aware of the "automatic" thoughts popping up in our heads in reaction to our experiences in the world.

Here's a very simple example from my life just this week! When I got to Chicago's O'Hare airport for a connecting flight to New York, I arrived to find the flight was delayed 2 hours! My initial reaction was not a positive one - I was meeting people in New York, had a car scheduled, and really wanted to get to my hotel in Connecticut 2 hours earlier - so initially, I wasn't very happy. However (after much practice in my life) I know that everything happens for a reason and is there to serve me.

I shifted my perspective and began looking for solutions and for how this event was serving me: I found out the reason for the delay (inclement weather in New York), I realized that everyone else I'll be meeting in New York would also be delayed, that my car could be easily scheduled 2 hours later, AND that I could actually enjoy my time at the airport (I called a few friends, worked on this newsletter, and had a nice leisurely lunch) - well, the delay was practically a gift and I got to New York relaxed, safe and sound.

Have you ever noticed the mind automatically focuses on what is bad, wrong, or a threat in your life? It does this because its job is survival, to keep you alive. The default of the mind is to chaos, is to the negative, is to what's wrong, scary, and worrisome - because these are the things it interprets as a threat to your survival, and therefore what it must focus on. Running unchecked, this automatic way of seeing the world completely colors your experience in life putting fear at the core with suffering as a result.

The solution to this automatic focus on fear is cultivating consciousness. Conscious awareness. Awareness of the thoughts in your head - as THOUGHTS - and not necessarily as the reality or "truth" of the world you're in. The key is to notice your thoughts as they arise in each moment - especially when it comes to problems and fear-based thoughts. As you notice them, as you observe them, you have them rather than them having you. Now you're in a better position to CHOOSE them - and to choose thoughts that create more joy, love, and fulfillment in your life. More mojo! Remember, the job of the mind is NOT happiness and fulfillment, its job is survival.

Now don't get me wrong, it's good to have a part of ourselves focused on survival. Thank God for that. However, the truth is, we have already survived. And, in modern life and times, the need for this survival based mechanism is hugely reduced. This mechanism has us focused on the problems in our life as if they are ALL life threatening and must be solved before peace, relaxation, and happiness (never mind joy) can be experienced. Well, news flash, there will always be "problems" in your life, and to the extent you allow this mechanism to run unchecked, you will rarely, if ever, experience deep peace, relaxation, and happiness.

So, back to our initial question: How much do fear, worry, and concern run your life?

Try this: Over the next two weeks watch to see how often these type of thoughts come into your awareness. Pay attention to what triggers these thoughts and see if you can allow them to pass before coming to any conclusions or taking any action. Ask yourself "Am I coming from fear or love?" And work to move toward coming from love. Let the fears, worries and concerns melt away and practice consciously choosing your thoughts, staying connected to Source, and keeping your mojo flowing!

Cramming for an exam or quiz will do more harm than allow you to retain important information you need in your head. Here are some ideas that will at least, make it easier for you to study more effectively.

1. Plan what to study. Check all subjects or topics that you need to study and rank them according to which ones you have most difficulty with. The more difficult topics, the more time you should allot to them. The more complex the subject, longer period of time must be given.

2. Set a scheduled time of the weekday or weekends when you should start. Say, not right after a meal of course, because by that time you would feel sluggish as you feel your stomach jam-packed. Perhaps half an hour to an hour after any meal would be fine. And once you have made up your mind, always stick to your schedule.

3. Have a good, comfortable place set for your study time. Your own room would be nice, however, distractions are a complete no-no - MP3, turned-on TV, your laptop, or perhaps your mobile phone and other gadgets at hand. Although some people need soft music to retain information in their heads, basically 'clear' your place of clutter that will add up to the possible interruption in your study time, and have all notes, books, calculator and other materials all set.

4. Give some short breaks for your brain to breathe. A 10-minute break after an hour or so of reading and filling your head with information would be good, so as not to make you 'too bored' or 'too tired of thinking'.

5. Have some goodies, snacks or candies at hand. You can munch once in a while to break the monotony of reading your notes or writing. It will give you some energy too.

6. Inform your family beforehand of your study time so they won't be calling you out every now and then for something they need to ask you about. And also, if you have younger siblings, they would be warned ahead to respect your time.

7. Proper diet is important and always plays an important role in developing efficient study habits. Foods that are rich in Omega 3 and Vitamin E, fish like tuna, green leafy vegetables and peanuts help your brain function more fully.

8. Make sure you get enough sleep when it's time to. Retention of facts will be more difficult for your brain if you are stressed-out by sleeping too late and the next day you are too sleepy to even remember what you tried to store in your head.

9. Know your learning style. If you can remember more of what you have read and studied by talking it out loud then by all means, do it every time you study. If acronyms and made-up stories about your topics benefit your memory well, then it would be to your advantage. Don't hinder yourself from something that you know works best for your studies.

These are just a few of the things you can do to help improve your study habits and taking these in mind can truly help you one way or another to do good with your studies.

Do you have a naughty chair or mat somewhere in your house for your children? Or someplace they have to go to "think" about what they have done? How about for yourself?

Even though I live alone, I have found that I need a designated place in my house where I can go take a "time out" on a regular basis to recharge, relax, focus, and reconnect with myself. You'd think that living alone that part would be easy, but I have just as much going on in my head about things that need to be done and conversations I wish I'd had as a working mom with four kids might have. The issue isn't whether you have more stress than me, the issue is, are you helping yourself or hurting yourself by relentlessly maintaining a harried and hectic pace?

Dr. Daniel G. Amen is a brain function researcher in California. His work proves that the brain is the center of it all - a fit body, good health, strong families, satisfying relationships, and financial success. But we don't take care of our brains - we put ourselves last on the list. And we do so at great unseen risk to ourselves and our health.

The need for us to take a time out isn't limited to once a day, or once a week, and it isn't completely satisfied by "girls' night out."

Think about incorporating time outs for yourself in different ways and on a variety of levels. First, you really need to incorporate short time outs throughout the day at home and at work. We can't race around all day and expect to catch up with ourselves later in a healthy way.

A recent study commissioned by the Blue Cross Blue Shield insurance company found that the impact of sitting at a high-stress desk job all day resulted in a 40% increase in the risk of heart disease. People who have high stress and low control over their lives are essentially a ticking time bomb. So, if you are in an office all day, think of how to take mini-breaks that will refresh your brain.

If you are a stay-at-home mom and have a frantic schedule shuttling kids everywhere and getting all the housework done, think about how you can incorporate little deep-breathing breaks throughout your day. You're most likely not getting enough sleep so you have to turn down the volume and take in some deep breaths to help your body and brain survive that depletion.

You also need to start your day the right way - take a few moments before you even get out of bed to breathe deeply, feel your heart beating, think about the day ahead and focus on only one major task that MUST be done today. And this is also a good time to give thanks - you've got a fresh new day to make a difference in your life and in someone else's life. Starting the day with gratitude will have a profound effect on your mental and emotional health.

Now, in addition to the multiple mini-breaks you build into your day, you also need to take some longer periods of time. You need a place in your home that is for you only - and you need to use it several times a week (at the very least, once a week) to center yourself and ask yourself tough questions. Limit the distractions - no phone, no TV, no Internet. I suggest your journal - write down all the things you are grateful for, the things in your life you love, the things you want to work on and then ask yourself hard questions about whether you have any blockages that will prevent those life changes from happening. Your answers will come to you as you just sit and allow them. If you have trouble with this, get a guided discovery journal to help you. But be clear with yourself and your family - this is YOUR time. Schedule it, honor it, use it.

And you need to work in social time outs. Plan evenings out with just your spouse. The kids will survive with a babysitter. Plan evenings out with girlfriends who make you feel good about yourself and will do more than complain about their husbands or gossip about people you know. If you don't have those kinds of friends, spend some time reflecting on that!

Then there is the BIG one ? soul searching retreats. Do you have at least one time a year built into your calendar where you can leave daily life behind completely and focus on the big picture? If you've never done that, start researching some options. They don't have to be expensive, they don't even have to be far away. But the opportunity to remove yourself from your environment and explore yourself in a new place is such a gift to yourself and your family. Make it happen!

The key to any time out is that it must be about YOU. Does that sound selfish? Well, go back to the age-old example of the oxygen masks on airplanes. You put yours on first and then help your children. Believe that you deserve this time and know that it will make you a better person, a better spouse, a better mother, a better friend.

In her book Simple Abundance, Sarah Ban Breathnacht talks about restoring a sense of rhythm to your life. Since she wrote that book, the Internet has exploded, cell phones are in everyone's hands and are mobile computers. People text rather than talk and get belligerent if you don't respond immediately. Adopt an attitude that the phone and the computer are there for your convenience, not so that everyone else can find you at their convenience. Unplug and recharge for a better body, a better mind and a better life - restore a rhythm to your soul with your time outs.

Our dream or others' dream, any way we live in a dream. The only difference is the one who chooses the dream.

I always prefer the driver's seat instead of being a passenger. When driving, I have the control of movements and the destination. I can also decide to choose a short cut or change the destination. I have control over everything. It is my car, my destination and my dream.

On the other hand, if you are a passenger, you can only watch the view through the window. You go where the driver prefers. You cannot stop the car to take a break or decide to change the route. Everything is out of your control. You have to follow the rules of the driver. This is the driver's car and destination.

Are you only the reflections of others?

You have to make decisions every day. There are ordinary decisions, like having a tea or coffee. Other decisions can be more important like choosing your spouse or career. You can let others to choose for you, what to drink but you cannot let them choose your career or spouse.

Everyone have dreams for others they are connected. Your parents, teachers, friends, your boss and even your enemies-you are lucky if you know who they are- have dreams for you. They all want to see you somewhere they prefer.

People reflect their dreams to others. It is not always a bad thing if it is only advice. You can need guidance sometimes. When these advices become decisions, you will also become the reflections of others. They decide the destination for you and you will start to swim with the stream. Generally, others' dream does not fit you and you do not feel comfortable.

One day, when you achieve their dreams, you will not feel as satisfied or happy, as you should be. What happens then? They can help you to standup when you fall but they cannot take away the pain of falling. You are alone to heal yourself. You have to take yourself out of disappointment and unhappiness of the dreams of other people.

Are you living in a dream or reality?

Are you living in a real world without dreams? Reality is limited with the perception of the environment. Do you think that your brain treat every information the same way? The ratio of the information treated, can be different between people but never 100% reality. Brain also has limited energy and it makes predictions to decrease the use of energy to process information.

Do you still think that you know the whole reality around you?

If we are not living the 100% reality, why should not we live our dreams?

Decide to live in your dream before you start to live in others.

? You should know what you want

? You should decide who you would become

? You should have a dream about your future

Sometimes, living in your dream or dreaming about the future may seem harder than it is. You will always feel others reflections and you can have bias to accept them instead of your dreams.

You should start to dream for yourself immediately. Do not panic, there is always a way.

"Maybe" List

When you cannot connect the pieces in your mind, it is better to categorize them. Categorize the things you are interested in or you are passionate about. Finding out your passion is the best way to achieve your dreams. Passion is the easiest way to follow.

A maybe list will give you an idea about what your dream can be without limiting the possibilities.

? A "maybe" list helps to discover your dreams.

? An "exactly" list determines how to achieve your dreams.

You must keep in mind that you do not have much control on how to achieve your dreams but you have the whole control about the dream itself.

When the "maybe" list is long, colorful and full of your passions, you will see the destination you want more clearly. This will help you notice all the opportunities to achieve your dream without limiting the possibilities.

Make your list and share your ideas with us. Only a word, from your list can inspire and motivate others to discover their passions.

Imagine being able to exercise yourself or your child out of:
ADHDlearning and behavioural problemsmood disorderseating disordersdepressionanxietyPTSD

in the comfort and privacy of your own home. Neurofeedback (also known as neurotherapy, neurobiofeedback, EEG biofeedback and brainwave biofeedback) is a powerful way to train you and/or your child's brain that is fun, easy, non-invasive, safe natural and has no adverse side effects.

This is a scientifically proven process that uses one or two tiny sensors on your head that pick up brainwaves in real time and sends them to the computer where they are instantly analysed by the software and used to control brain games or the size of a DVD screen. So you are using your brain power to train your brain...no hands just brainwaves!

When Greg, 12, first began neurofeedback he had all the usual symptoms of ADHD: he was hyperactive, aggressive, had mood swings, poor self esteem and struggled with his behaviour and school work. By the time he finished six months later he was captain of his football team. His confidence had sky rocketed, his school work had improved dramatically and he was much calmer. "It's incredible how my son's life has improved after doing neurofeedback with Jonathan," said his mother.

Neurofeedback uses one or two tiny sensors that pick up brainwaves and relays that information wirelessly to the software, which allows you to control games or the size of a DVD screen with your brainwaves. Your brain knows that it has to make the graphics play or it has to keep the DVD screen big. This gives your brain feedback about its own functioning as its brainwaves that are driving the changes. Giving your brain this feedback allows it to re-regulate or re-tune itself. It makes changes to its own functioning that relate to improvements in:

Its so easy with neurofeedback you or your child can watch DVDs and letting your brain do the work!

Neurofeedback can remediate:
ADHD and ADDOCDlearning disordersdevelopmental delaybehavioural problemsPTSDanxietydepressionmood and eating disordersangersleep problemsmigrainesheadaches

This is possible because the brain is involved in all of these problems.

Neurofeedback is a scientific field Neurofeedback is part of a scientific field that goes back to the late sixties. It has evolved rapidly in the last 10 years swept along by the tremendous advances in neuroscience and the rapid improvement of computer power and speed. It is cutting edge science based on natural healing.

What medical and psychology researchers are saying Professor Frank Duffy MD, of Harvard Medical School said,"The literature, which lacks any negative study of substance, suggests that EEG biofeedback therapy (neurofeedback) should play a major therapeutic role in many difficult areas. In my opinion, if any medication had demonstrated such a wide spectrum of efficacy, it would be universally accepted and widely used."
